In 2006, Christine Rust started her first pet sitting and dog walking company, The Paw Walker LLC. Rather than relying on neighbors or family members, Christine went looking for pet care options for her two energetic rat terriers, Alli and Jasmine. She wanted a pet sitter and dog walker that would come to her home while on vacation or at worked. This way her dogs could stay in their own environment that they are comfortable with and familiar. Realizing that there was a demand for professional pet sitters & dog walkers, Christine decided to put on her walking shoes and start a new adventure in the pet care industry.
With over 17 years of experience, Christine is a Certified Professional Pet Sitter that has been offering pet care options to hundreds of residents and their "four legged furry kids" in Lakewood Ranch, FL. Over the years, her company has expanded and evolved it's services much like the Lakewood Ranch Community has grown in size. So, Christine decided to retired the name The Paw Walker and create Around the Ranch Pet Club LLC - Professional Pet Sitting & Dog Walking.
Most importantly though, I love my job and thrive in the care of pets. My promise to you is exceptional, unbeatable service. I want all of our clients to wonder how they managed before they met Around the Ranch Pet Club!

Hi there!
I relocated in 1998 to Venice, Florida from The Great Lakes of Michigan to accept a position in the banking industry. A couple years later, I was able to call Lakewood Ranch, FL my home with my two furry kids, Alli and Jasmine.
Growing up, I have always had a special affection and compassion for pets. I was constantly bringing home stray cats or dogs and had become the neighborhood dog sitter at a very young age. Hamsters, snakes, birds, rabbits and horses, you name it I've had it and cared for it.
Unfortunately, my 2 furry kids, Alli and Jasmine have passed away, however, I continue to share my love and passion with my new pack Frankie, Aksel and all my furry clients of Around the Ranch Pet Club. Over the years, I continue to volunteer at local animal shelters and fostered pets that need help overcoming issues so they can find their forever homes.
Never would I have thought that 40+ years later, I would enjoy a career doing what I loved as a young girl, sharing my love for animals. Read about me IN THE NEWS features.
